unluckiest person this year!

So far I've been diligent with maintenance on my vehicles but it never worked out.

on my jetta I changed my breaks. On the first drive out after seating my brake pads I was driving to work only to have the rotor explode at the hub, I had 4 out of 5 lugs shoot out going 100km/h and the tire almost fall off. Wagner covered the damages since it was a faulty part almost 2000$ in damages.

I got my 8 in may and the dealership put on eagle GT tires on the car. I've behaved well this year some sporty driving but no drifting or burn outs no track days sadly. I was driving and had the tire pop off the rim and the inner side wall melt. Again covered under warranty for the tire and no one got hurt and no real damages this time.

I got a new battery from the dealership 2 month ago and now it won't hold a charge. Faulty battery and dealership is replacing it.

I almost feel like I should start taking the bus... lol

+1, and I'm glad that the dealership / manufacturer is there for you.

With all those chain of events happening, you just have to be extra cautious, even though you are not the cause.

Take care, and be safe.

Unlucky is a state of mind.

I am quite certain there are others out there that better qualify for that title. Like all the little dead children in Somalia. Or the dude that lost his children to the state because he lost his job and home.

Dude, you barely had any damage. Count your blessings.

Or you could look at it as your actually lucky that the dealer is replacing everything for you. Sometimes it can be a pain in the *** to get that to happen even when they should be replacing it with no hesitation.

Yeah, when I'm making the statement with how unlucky I am I'm more talking about the pure math to get so many faulty parts.... I find doing the legal research before even talking to them helps a lot as well working for an insurance company and having access to lawyers helps

Wanna talk about luck?

My 8's engine has lasted longer than my Toyota Corolla's engine.

The OP takes the crown for the most dangerous bad luck.

I hope the best for your future luck.

Put perfectly. Everyone hear has experienced a mechanical mishap with their cars . Hell I got in a fender bender with my rx8 from someone stopping short at a yield sign. A week later I did the same thing with a rental car. You think my insurance went up. Hells yeah! I'm just saying worse has happened to people Consider yourself lucky you had a couple little mishaps with a car.

I had a buddy in Afghanistan who had spent his entire tour of duty being the guy who brought a smile to his section, being the clown that he was. He had 7 days left before he was to come home. His LAV III (Striker) was hit by a recoilless rifle as he was returning to his FOB on what was to be his last patrol. Him and his best friend were killed in that incident.
You may have had a few shitty incidents. But, no one was hurt, and life goes on.
Sorry to sound so glum! I'm just saying.....

Life is full of surprises. Bad luck is just something we come up with to cope with issues.

Im not saying I have bad luck nor would I say my life isnt short awesome!

I was jussayin (which is why i said jussayin)

I would never undermind the armed forces that out there putting their lives on the line for us.
