I purchased my 8 in feb of this year from a ford dealer and absolutely love it. Im trying to find out if I purchased a shinka edition or just a special ordered clone. It has the copper red paint with black and red leather, chrome pedals and on the fender grills on the side there are two accent pieces that molded into them that move up or down depending on the wind...i'll post pics shortly...

 

Copper red = 2006 shinka.

2006 Shinkas came in a variety of colors, one of which was Copper Red. However, unlike the other Shinka colors, Copper Red was not available for the non-Shinkas, so if you have a Copper Red, you have a Shinka.

 

Was it not re-offered in the USA in 2008?
