Undocumented feature?

How fast will your 8 go in reverse gear? While I was backing out of the garage this morning I noticed for the first time that the digital speedometer works in reverse!

That's one unique capability of a digital speedo ... this one works off a driveshaft sensor and it "knows" which way the car is going, and since it's not mechanical, can go in reverse.

And yes, as near as I can tell, the traction control DOES work in reverse - my car was parked on a bunch of wet leaves over the weekend at a my son's soccer game, pointing downhill. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to back out of my parking space after I pulled in (didn't look before I pulled in - stupidass me), but the TC worked fine backing up out of the spot.
