Nordic green is best in the bright sunlight and at dawn/dusk
It ain't easy being green.

It's hard to see a car's true color until you see it in direct sunlight. The right red looks awesome in any weather.

I've only seen the Velocity Red in the sun...looks awesome. :D

I've no idea. The only RX 8 I saw on the road was a black one, about 3 weeks ago. And of course the Silver I took for a testdrive.
I had to choose the color from a little plate, had no clue. It was already dark outside and the only thing I knew was that it wouldn't be a grey or silver. (After 7 years Thundergrey MX6). So, red it is....

Hey JERCS,

Velocity Red is awesome man, don't get yourself down.:D

For a long time, I thought I would want Titanium with Chapparal leather but I had a Velocity Red with red/black leather for a demo, and that is now my favorite. I love VR and it looks great on the new Mazda 3 as well.

Enjoy it!
