Transmission vibration during hard accelaration uphill
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. I had the damper recall done last week and now I feel vibrations in the shift **** and the steering wheel during heavy acceleration uphill.

I have a slight vibration in the shifter, particularly at low engine speed - I figured this was normal.
If you're actually hearing and feeling vibrations in the tranny though, I don't think that's normal.

Are you in the right gear? Need to downshift?
Steep hill + Low RPMs + Low torque car = Buckled engine
Ever try to accelerate from a stop in 3rd? Is it that kind of vibration or something different?

I'm in the right gear. It's just the opposite. I'm in 3rd gear getting on the highway and the ramp is uphill. I feel the vibrations around 6K rpm.

Very odd...
Sounds like something is off balance. Is it just RPM or is it also a speed dependent vibration? Is it possible that the source of the vibration is something other than the tranny? Can you reproduce the vibration every time? It can't hurt to have a tech look at it.
