Perhaps we would have to submit a request to a mod/admin to add a score to another user, which would be granted after some sort of proof of the transaction was given (I'm not talking anything serious just a Good Guy thread or something). That way there is at least some moderation of these things, but we also aren't turning into ebay with serious invasiveness. I don't know if this is just a test out phase or what.

Really, what happens when you rate someone good then they become horrible like the guy down South that went out of business?


You rate good then latter when they become a complete looser you can't change your vote?

^^ that's not an issue since this is (IMO) a system that is intended to score a TRANSACTION you had with another individual, not your overall view of the person.

ie; if you had a great transaction with the person and they then become a crook, that doesn't change the fact that they once took care of you.
This is to capture a specific time & transaction.

 

The rep system sucks... Glad we dont have that

 

Admin's: Of late a number of us haven't been able to link to relevant threads and therefore unable to grant Trader Score points ("...invalid thread link"). Is there a flaw in the system at the moment?
