What year Supra? If its a 93-1998--I'd say no way. Besides--if it is a 93-98 it is probably worth more than an RX8 anyway.

 

You could hang on to it. I've heard rumors of Toyota re-releasing the supra in 05-06.

Seriously, I need to know what year Supra you have and whether or not it is a twin turbo. Those factors make a big difference in the advice I would give.

 

oh yeah, about the supra. it is one of THE best japanese cars ever produce in my oppinion. it's potential is just amazing..... and the looks is almost unbeatable with the right body kits. unless its really old, its not worth trading in for anything. if i had an option of buying 2nd hand, supra would be the one for me.

 

its 97! limited edition. Twin turbo. it had the blitz kit, but i sold it because i needed money for my dogs surgery. <-- pathetic i know, but i had to.

Must have been an expensive surgery--the dog is healthy now right. Those are incredible cars, your credibility grows by the minute to me. Ever driven an third gen Rx7? How do you compare them.
Judging by your pic, if guys are after you for your cars, they are idiots. If I was younger (and unmarried), I am sure I would try--but it wouldn't be for your vehicles. Although, your taste in cars is certainly a bonus.

I've had a 3rd Gen myself and love the Supras--I prefer 3rd Gens over Supras for the handling feel of them--but Supras are badass. Don't sell the Supra unless u absolutely have too. I'd say the same about 3rd Gens as well. If you want an RX8 just get it as a 2nd vehicle; but not a replacement for the Supra. And I'm in H-Town too--wink wink J/K. Welcome to the board.

dont, for the love of god, trade in your supra! get both! you can use the rx8 as a daily driver and the supra as your trump card! nothing is as hot as a girl driving a souped up supra! it adds like 20 points to the 1-10 scale! not only that but your used supra is worth more than a brand new rx8. hell, hulk hogan drives one. adam carolla drived one. when you see the "highway king" rumblind down the interstate, everyone gives you respect! omg a mk4 girl. goddamn houston has it all.

 

Damn I would have put my pet down before selling a TT supra. You've got some love for that animal.

oh and I would never trade in that supra, I saw one on the road yesterday and for the first time since I got my 8 I felt like I didn't have the nicest looking car on the road

that shows your complete ignorance and immaturity towards life...she obviously has a heart because I would do the same thing for my animals...if it's car or animal i choose animal...i can always replace the car...never the companionship and loyalty of a good, cared for animal...

 

I would sacrifice almost anything (and certainly anything material) for our dogs. They are more important to me than metal. RX8_ML made the right choice IMO.

Well, I have six siberian forest cats. And I think RX8_ML and others already noticed the afinity of cat owners to the RX-8 (which is explained by the same perfect elegance if you ask me).

Point in fact, I love my cats and would of course sacrifice my car for them - altough I'm glad to report I can afford both at the moment.
