Today I was the victim of a hit and run...

My day starts off great. Its Friday was a little late getting out of the house to work, but there was no traffic a pleasant surprise. So I exit off the freeway come to a stop to turn right, start my turn then BAM some fat bitch in her shitty sedan nails my driver side front fender, wheel, and bumper. (She made an illegal u-turn to come into my lane) I was so ******* mad. So I pull over right away and the car takes off without even slowing down. I pull back into the lane to try to get her license plate numbers but she drove around 2 cars in the median to get away. I wasn’t about to pull some **** like that just for the license plate.

So I call my insurance agency and file the police report. They think it will take at least a week in the shop to fix my car. I’m glad I can at least drive it and the damage wasn’t terribly bad. Its just an eyesore. Although my 1 month old rx8 will never be the same to me…

So either this lady had no insurance or is in trouble with the law I can only assume.

The only plus side to the whole situation is that I don’t have to argue what happened. My insurance wont go up from a hit and run, and my deductible for the damages is 1/3rd of what it would have been had the driver had insurance and stopped.

Overall a shitty day…

DAMN i wish you got back in your car and chased her bitch *** down, hit and run is a felony and that fat bitch deserve to goto jail. glad to hear youre ok, but yeah tons of people are driving around without insurance... especially if theres a heavey illegal immigrant population

I live in southern california...

Believe me I wanted to chase her down. But I wasnt going to risk pulling some stupid move and run the risk of getting in another accident. I also had no clue on how damaged my car was. I didnt want to drive it and risk hurting it more.

and everyone says that kids can learn so much from adults...so much for that. Some of the stuff that full-grown adults do seems 10 times more childish then what a scared teenager would do.

that hit-and-run crap really is a bunch of BS. People need to take responsibility for their actions. If she was dumb enough to be driving without a license to begin with, she shoulda just accepted that she was caught and learned that the hard way.

man...assuming she didn't have her license, that woulda been a load of problems for her too. First off driving without a license, as well as lack of insurnace...then an illegal u-turn, not to mention that she would have to pay in full the damages of your car AND likely hers if it was worth it.

If you #$%^ up people, take responsibility for it. ugh...that just urks me.

I so would of followed her, enough to get her plate number. What was she driving? I'm assuming it was a POS, whatever it was.

it was a green 4 door sedan was a lil shaken up it happened so fast like all accidents do. my first accident aside from the track (glad i wasnt driving my rx8 that day) Chasing her was not an option for me. I had no clue what kind of damage was done to the car nor did i want to risk adding more.

I would of gone after it like *insert famous actor who's been in the best car chases* would. Not just for the plate. That's just me.

man, that totally sucks... good to hear u'r ok and that the damage isn't that bad. i know how u feel, because i've been hit by a "hit and run" ******* before too. chances are, it was someone who didn't have any insurance. with the high cost of insurance due to insurance fraud and the increasing population of illegal immigrants in so cal, our collective chances of getting hit by uninsured motorists just goes up year by year.

Are there any cameras in the intersection at all? Maybe cops can look at it for you.

When I filed the police report i asked the guy. He said ya there are cameras, but no one will look. It takes to much time and effort...
