Tires, Clutch, and Brakes gone out all at the same time!

I just think its funny that my clutch is starting to go out, my brakes are almost worn to the nub, and my tires are like racing slicks. So I'm upgrading the clutch to an exedy single stage, while i have the tranny dropped I figured I would put in an ACT lightweight flywheel. Replacing the brakes with EBC redstuff, doing the rotors too but I'm undecided on those, and for rubber I'm going with the Goodyear Eagle F1's. Good thing I have so much money lying around

I have about 25,000 on the car, my first manual, have too much fun driving, etc. etc. I am replacing the brakes and tires first, the clutch I am just babying it for now. It's not completely gone, just to the point where it slips a little bit when I shift. I'm guessing tires will be around $800, and brakes are already on order and those cost me $550 for ebc pads, rotora drilled&slotted rotors, and steel lines. At least this gives me an excuse to get rid of that god awful squeeling every time I brake.

Your statement "my first manual, have too much fun driving" probablyl have something to do with your problem. Have you ever: burned the clutch, dropped the clutch, slammed on the brakes to do manuever, etc? The life of the tires are about right.

Your trifecta repair is more of an unlucky coincedence, but things will break if you drive it hard enough, no matter what car it is.

how about adjusting the clutch? i doubt even if you rode it the whole time it has worn out in 25,000 miles.

Well I've never done a full burn out or a clutch drop or anything like that, I think it was just from me learning to drive a manual and stalling it a few times, slipping it a few times, etc. But maybe I can adjust it and get a few more miles out of it. I never thought about that, but yeah I take full responsibiltiy for all the wear on my car, just kicks me in the *** that all 3 are going out simultaneously.

25,000 miles and your clutch is going out? somethings missing, a clutch can last over 200,000 miles. My dad has an early 90's civic with over 225,000 on the odometer and he's still on the original clutch.

I only got 60K miles out of the OEM clutch. I put 200,000 miles on my miata's oem clutch. That's one of the weak links in our cars...
