Tire size advice

I am running: Nitto NT555 Extremes
Front 235-35x19 on 19-8.5 Axis rims
Rear 265-30x19 on 19-9.5 Axis rims
That keeps the height of the tires about the same as the stock 18s
ie, same size donut but with less (less sidewall) meat and bigger hole (19 in)
Stock 18s are 225x40-18 = 26.086614 in TOTAL Height OOPs my mistak:e, Total Height is 25.086614 inches
225x45-18 = 25.972441 inches
Either way, if 40s or 45s you can compare stock tire size to the 19s I posted/use.
225x40-18 = 25.086614 inches
225x45-18 = 25.972441 inches
Front 235x35-19 =25.476378 inches
Rear 265x30-19 =25.259843 inches
AS YOU can see the 19s I use are almost the same size as the 18s.
Don't remember if my stocks were 45s or 40s.
225x40-18s are what I am running on my Mazda MX-3 so I thought that were the same size as stock on my RX-8.
Fronts: (235mm times .35 = 82.25mm) times 2 (2 sidewalls from top to bottom) Plus 19 in = 6.476378 inch plus 19 in = 25.476378 inches in TOTAL height
Need to convert mm to inches: 82.25mm = 3.238189 inch times 2
Rears: (265mm times .30 = 79.5mm) times 2 (2 sidewalls from top to bottom) Plus 19 in = 25.259843 inches in TOTAL Height
Need to convert mm to inches: 79.5mm = 3.129921 inch times 2
So front tires slightly taller than rears!!
I want rears to be about 1 inch taller than fronts
Rear 275x40 or 45s
Front 245x 40 or 45s or 235 x 40s or 45s ( not too sure yet) need to do more calculating/research. Don't want to Roll fender/or tires to rub.
Don't care what it does to my speedo, etc, I want looks so Dont care what others think, etc
I am looking into going with bigger tires, ie more sidewall but have not done it cause these tires are still in good shape . Also expensive!! Why spend when I have decent tires..Also am taking my time enjoying the care, no rush in doing mods.
Edited to correct tire size on 225x40-18 and to add 225x45-18 size
Front 235-35x19 on 19-8.5 Axis rims
Rear 265-30x19 on 19-9.5 Axis rims
