Tire Installer *Slightly* Scratched Rims... Worth Repairing?

Put on new tires today and the installer scratched my rims. Should I repair them? See photos (500k worth) and full story at:

For ANY damage that was not my fault I would expect to be compensated.

A .50 cent insulator on the foot of the tire machine would have stopped this from happening.
