I know in Maine that tickets from planes are uncontestable as they have video footage of you speeding for a whole mile... but then again, they want to attach points so they jsut block off all the exits with cops... not by mail.
any ticket by mail can only be a fine as they do not know who was driving.

thanks for all the responses guys
but no the car wasnt marked at all and it didnt have any lights what so ever, just a plain blue chevy tahoe and he was a cop because he showed me his badge and he coudlnt have had a radar or anything because i have a escort 8500 and it would've caught it.. i think he was just trying to get me to slow down because i have to admit.. i was driving a little bit wreckless and my friend in a g35 was doing about the same and when he passed him (who was in front of me) he didnt say anything to him
and i was on GSP down somewhere around exit 123, where there's two express lanes
thanks for everything, next time i think i'll just slow down

i got a ticket in the mail for something very similar and u know what i lost it the first time and hired a lawyer and finally waived the 2nd time $1000 later thou( lawyer fee) no BS here if hes a cop and he sees u screwing off offduty or not he can call in and have a ticket written (cop friend told me this) keep the envelope it comes in cause he has 6 bussiness days to get that ticket to ur house from the day of the offense and the envelope should have a stamped date when it was mailed, that was very important to my lawyer

You have nothing to worry about, only an on duty police officer can issue you a moving violation citation. Just sounds like douche bag cop that was probably pissed off about you having that car, and he was stuck driving a bloated turd SUV.
