just got back from mazda, i have a new enigne on the way ! thanks to all of you & this site for the info & help. my 05, 8, had hot start problems, i done all the stuff on the list. done my last compression test & it was bad, took it to mazda & said have at it. thay called me back & said i need a new one, it will be here by the 26th. that 8 year 100,000 mile ext. is greaaaaaaaat!!! but if it wernt for yall, i would not have known what to do... so thank you very much!!!

Don't be happy just yet.....they can still try and screw you over.....be diligent until the install and everything is done.

 

Congrats, you may want to look at having a few things replaced at your cost while the engine is out.
OMP lines and nozzles, the updated motor mounts.
A thorough cleaning of the throttle body.
Updated SSV valve.
