I would like to say thanks to everyone here who has contributed useful/relevant information to these forums. Doing far more reading than posting, I have diligently read up on this car for the past month (doing my homework i guess you could say) for hours on end. I obtained VERY useful information from this site (aside from noob bashing).

That being said, today at around 3:30 EST i signed the final paper in the process of buying my 8. It's a good feeling, but it hasn't fully set in yet. I know I have a new car, but maybe I'm just in disbelief.

lol, actually i didn't know the official name for color I have and just got done doing a search for it. Its "winning blue", apparently the same as yours from the pics.

 

winning blue is the sexiest color. im jealous.

I will have some pics either later tonight or tomorrow. I work weekends and today I had to finalize everything with the dealer (trade-in title, actually give them my down payment) not to mention I've been busy showing it off to my friends..

I notice I get a lot of looks with this car. I pulled up to pump some gas and a group of of guys with their ricer-mobiles all started looking. Not that I give a damn about their approval or not, but right after I got out of my car a brand new dodge viper convertible pulls up right next to me to get gas. Guess how much attention I was receiving then?
