Cool Tailights tinted red

Just got my tailights tinted red. I thought it would look good with the wwp. What do you all think?

Tonight i'll take some pics with lights on. I'm curious to see how it will look myself. I literally got them done like an hour ago.

It cost $60 to have the pair tinted. If you notice I have a FOP badge in the center of my plate. My dad was a cop and got it for me, only officers and their family are allowed to put these on there cars. Helps out a lot! You are right though, the reverse light will appear red as well.

I was thinking about making a custom reverse light to place inside the rear rotor accent. I have to look around and see what I can find.

pm LEBREN. he'll probably make it for you. the lens is obviously red, but i think the lights are red too (they are on mine, from lebren). but i'm sure he could make a custom one with white led's and a clear lens. that would be awesome.

hey check back in my old thread for reverse light options..ive had mine red for about a year and a half now and so far I went through a lower rotary light which used to alternate between red/white leds for reverse, custom bulbs mounted in the lens of the taillight and a few other things...eventually I stuck with just removing a small rectangle over only the reverse bulb and used frost spray for the square. Best option ive found so far. Just to let you know, it wont pass inspection without a white taillight and cops will say something if they catch it. I passed inspection twice with this setup. Hope that helps and maybe gives you an idea

my plates read US Armed Forces Disabled Veteran. I can park anywhere I want including handicap spots and they never pull me over for speeding:P Its worth it to get specialty plates.

Its a red transparent vinyl made by Oracle. I believe 3m makes a version as well.

...have a backup set for inspection or something man..i failed twice because when I had my reverse light there they considered it not obvious enough and too low to the ground. Just a heads up!

I don't see how the DMV can fail you for the location of your reverse light. Look where the Scion xb has its stock reverse light positioned. I'd fight it if I was given a problem. I have attached a pic of a stock xb.

Well I have given Lebren a down payment and he sounds excited to get the project underway. I will post pics of the finished product. Some nighttime pics with the lights on will be coming soon.

I installed my custom reverse light from Lebren. Looks nasty at night. I will take a night time pic tonight and post it this weekend sometime. Thanks Lebren.
