Tune car on. Turn steering wheel all the way to the right then all the way to the left then back to center. Drive car around the block. Lights go off.
No need for stealership visit.

I already tried that after reading some of the other threads . One other thing i notice is that when i start the car there is no lights on. It takes about 10 minutes and the e brake light/abs/traction control come on and 5 mintues after that the tmps light starts to flash on and off. Anyone ??

My DSC kept flashing at me the other day - Found out my clutch pedal needed adjusting. No idea how the two are tied but it seemed to work

might be a problem with your breaks, how's the fluid looking? the traction control light is puzzling to me.

The TPMS is presumably complaining because the pressure transmitters are wherever you put your other wheels for the summer (in your garage?), rather than on the car and transmitting. I forget how to reset the system but I'm sure it's in the manual.

All the other lights are related to how fast the computer thinks your wheels are turning, so it looks like a sensor must have failed. Is there any chance you knocked a connector or damaged a cable? It might just be that one of the wires was old enough to fail after being pushed a bit when you changed the wheels.

If your summer tires have different overall diameters front to rear it would cause this problem. Try starting the car and immediately setting the DSC to comp mode, (hold the dsc off button for 8-10 seconds). It should override the light show on your dash if this is the problem.

well after getting back from the dealership you are righy my friend. my tires in the rear are 2 inches biggero then the fronts 25 to 23 or something like that they told me . they said if i get the same size tires in the front the problem will be gone . IS THIS TRUE ? Oh when i held the dcs buttom for ten seconds the brake light goes away and abd light but the other is still there.

i wouldn't stagger the tires in the rx8, it was not designed with that in mind. and cost more to replace.

Yes, it's true. The Rx8 must have the same overall diameter (OD) tires front and rear or it will freak out, as you have experienced. A friend of mine tried a staggered OD setup on his RX8 and after a few miles his car went into limp mode and wouldn't go over 15-20 mph. You can still run a staggered width front to rear but you must have the same OD front to rear.

You may find that after you fix the OD problem one or two of the warning lights may take a few driving cycles to turn off, unless you can reflash the ecu.
