This is for people who have been keeping up with these threads...

concerning the Rx's engine running very rich to meet emissions standards for kali... this may have been done at the docks as a last minute fix to get the cars in the us....

some people also have found that using a lower octane gas -- has given them increased performance....

So could this be making the mix “Less rich” with a lower octane levels in the gas... in some way sort of a counter measure for that last minute fix done with the ECU or what ever its called…

Any one any thought>?


and may also be a reson for worse MPG burning more gas....
