Strange Noise From Front Wheel

Occasionally when I'm driving on even mildly uneven roads, I hear a consistent noise coming from my front, driver's side wheel. It's like a thud, or a bang. It honestly sounds like I'm hitting rubber to metal, maybe my bump stops, but I'm sure if the front has bump stops. I thought at first it was my wheel being loose, but it's securely fastened so I'm lost.

Thanks.

I looked over it initially too, and the pads aren't loose or anything. What am I looking for?

I think its just one of the body panels vibrates, or could be the interior. I get that too. dont expect cars with that hard suspension be absolutely quite.

I feel like panel vibration would sound different based on the noises that came from my '91 T/A, though maybe Japanese panels sound different than American?

It sounds more like a suspension or hub noise.

Perhaps, but my car is all stock. Would Mazda's stock shocks make the noise? And how would I fix it?

Driving around to specifically listen to the noise it seems as though something is popping in and out. Like a sheet of metal bending back and forth.

I know the car is relatively new, but have you checked the shock bodies to see if there are any leaks?

I wouldn't even know where to start with checking them.

I don't see anything, nor do I feel anything.

I'm going to pick-up a set of Tein springs soon and pray that for some act of God they fix my problem. Haha.

I'm starting to think my brake pads are wore, but the calipers aren't adjusting to the pad. My brake pedal doesn't feel smooth and I would think that a loose pad might clunk around on bumps and turns.

Alright, so I'm pretty sure it's my shock now. Going around a curve, the left front kind of bounces up and down numbly. I don't think there is anything wrong with the spring.
