Stereotyping RX-8 owners
I'm curious about the tall thing, why? I'm 4'11'', and I bet I'd own you all in a drag race in my sport.
8 owners are unconventional, in a lot of diverse ways. We aren't scared of weird engines and insanely bad gas mileage, as long as it feels like sex when we turn the wheel. We're drivers of all kinds who like driving to be fun, and hate boring driving appliances.

RX-8 owners watch Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck, listen to Rush Limbaugh, believe Fox News is "fair and balanced," vote Libertarian or Republican, root for the Tea Party, support the teaching of "Creationism" in our public schools, deny global warming, tend to believe conspiracy theories and that America is a Christian nation following God's plan to do good and battle evil in preparation for the second coming of Christ, when all "real Americans" will be saved.
And then, of course, there's me.

Gotta admit, the car is a sexy looking car. It's got lines, curves and various other shapes. I'd call my car a femine car- Likewise a 350/370z, or subbie. In contrast to a car like the mustang 5.0.

I think the above is for the southern Ford F-150 Forums.
hehe, God.

Some of the troubling aspects:
they support hallucinogenic drugs, dominatrix fetish, multiculturalism, heavy metal, stephen hawking, gimmicky photography techniques... things that ought to get anyone banned from the school parking lot.

I haven't heard anyone call the RX8 a girlie car. I have heard Miata's called faggy. I really don't understand why. Nobody calls a Z4 gay-same size car. When I was a kid, nobody thought there was anything wrong with a guy driving an MGB, a Fiat Spider or a TR7. I'm also tired of hearing mid-life crisis. My kids are over sixteen and have their own cars. I no longer needed the van, and at age 44 I can afford a nice car. So basically, bite my exhaust pipe!

I'd call most RX owners, including me, otaku, a Japanese loan word discussed here:
http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Otaku
In short, it's meaning is " an obsessive fan of any one particular theme, topic, or hobby". Like the American word "geek", it started as a very negative slang term, but has gotten borrowed and morphed into something else. Still, it can be a plus or minus, depending. Is rotary madness good or bad?
