I've noticed my 8 starts super smooth if I turn the key to accessories -> wait for 1 to 2 seconds -> turn it to the on position -> wait for the beeps to stop -> once they stop wait another 5 seconds and then turn it fully over.

I was just curious as to why it works like this whereas if I just turn it to the on position and wait for the beeps to stop and then immediately start it it'll start a little bit slower in comparison.

Sorry if this was difficult to read by the way, I tried making it as easy as possible.

 

I haven't got any beeps thank god why does american cars do this? to remind you you're in a car ??
Anyway. I turn the key, let all the dials light up and do their thing then start it. Smooth as you like
