how come some rx8 does not have spoiler? how much you have to add on to it when you first buy the car new??...i got a used car so i don't know...

 

How come the RX-8 comes in Automatic and Manual? How come some have the DSC and some don't? How come some comes in 16'' wheels while others in 18''?

as stated above and for clarity, lol, the spoiler was an optional accessory and was never standard on any model.

For accuracy, and to be strictly pedantic, the Euro style trunk-lip spoiler was standard on European models.

spoiler = added option. (aka more $$$)
you can pick from the standard spoiler or the Mazdaspeed Wing.

the 8's without a spoiler had defective ones. they fell off and mazda offered to replace them or give them $1500 and a year's free maintenance.

 

(rx-8) - spoiler = hp+5 = +torque
