Well guys I've been feeling a little depressed today and i'll explain why. Last night I spent the night at my girlfriends house whom lives at an apartment complex. I reverse parked my car in about the same spot i always do when i spend the night there. I went to bed at about 12:30 am and at around 3:30 am i got a call from that my car has been in a wreck! Now i'm thinking how is that possible? So i go outside and my car has been completely destroyed in the front with the front bumber crushed and my hood bent. Now here's the best part nobody saw anything they only heard it so this ******* that hit my car and probably bent the frame of my car is going to get away with this crime scott free. Now granted I'm happy that nobody got hurt but at the same time you could see why i'm depressed. I'll post pics when I get them uploaded (their not pretty)

Dude, that sucks. I hope you find him and beat the crap out of him. Until then, I hope you have comprehensive insurance on your car......cost you your deductible, but if they find the person, they'll go after them and get your deductible back.

 

Wow...I wish you could track down that ***** that did it and just totally destroy his car.

 

Sorry to hear that I just had a drunk hit two of my parked cars and one of them is totaled.

 

sorry to hear that, a much milder version happend to me, I spent the night at my gf and someone broke out my tailight, of all things. I have $700 worth of JL audio in my trunk and they break my tailight. I was pissed. Hopefully your insurance will help you out, post some pics and keep us updated, I hope this works out for the best. I really miss my car it sucks knowing that you had your rx8 in perfect condition for almost three years then this kind of thing happens, i'll have pics posted guys as soon as i can but i've been a little busy as you could imagine, plus i'm too young to have a rental so that's becoming a pain

wow thats a major bummer, you would think with such a big hit and run the "bad guy" would have some type of body damage that would make him easier to spot. i'd ask your girl to keep an eye out around the appartments for any cars that look like they might have hit yours. you can pick up hints from swapped paint. i hope the police have been notified they could/might be a help in this instance, it being a crime and all. wish you good luck on the overall situation.

 

Well yea we had thought of that already and the FHP officer already searched the premises and told us to look out for it, I've been looking out everytime i go there now but no luck. The collision place is still developing an estimate for everything and I really thought that the stock bumpers came painted but I guess they don't I'm hoping my car doesn't come out looking miscolored. I'll be so fing pissed if that happens considering the fact that my car looks brand new. I'm trying to upload the pictures but it's saying the file is too big, how can i make it not as big a file?

Damn, that absolutely sucks! I cant believe that nobody heard anything. Looks like it may have been a bigger truck or suv that went up and over your bumper. I hope it all works out for you.
BTW, a good bodyshop will be able to blend the paint and you will never be able to tell the difference. When I had my bumper repainted I went to a shop that serviced Lambos, Ferraris and Bentlys...It worked out really well for me.

Guess your next car is a jetta seems to have better luck. All kidding aside i have had that happen to me as well and sometimes it just doest seem like the cops try that hard to catch people that hit and run if have a car that they think will be used for racing, dont matter if you do or do not. Had a Del Sol of mine got totaled by a drunk driver that ran away, and of course nobody saw anything. I was lucky though he hit my car so hard his license plate got imprinted into my car.
