slow starter/dead battery
first let me start by saying that i did do a search, my results were about puting in a battery, or weather or not to use a red top or yellow top battery.
My problem is, i just bought this car last night, but i hve noticed that it seems to start realy slow, like the battery is dead. is this how they all start, or is it just mine. i am really thinking it is my car. anyways, any response would be great. |

Why spend money on something you really don't need. Save your money for things you DO need, like fender strakes and clear side markers. :) Good luck with your new car! |

No its not how all 8's start and its normal for you to buy a new car and get a dead battery. After all they do just sit there... |
yeah, i did forget to mention that i have had seven RX-7's. so i know the sound of a rotary. but the 8 just sounds like its about to die. i didnt even think about it just sitting there. thanks, i think i might have them check it out.

I've read in at least one other thread on this site that the 8 ships with a weak OEM battery. I've noticed the same thing about the way it cranks sometimes, and I'm holding out for it to embarass me one morning so I can get it replaced under warranty.
