The RX8 sleeps in the driveway. Infiniti AWD ftw.

More than ~6-7 inches (or whatever ride height) on the road, and it doesn't matter what tire you have on

yah the rx8 is good till about 4 inches if it' completely unplowed. But in the NY area it usually either gets matted down by other cars, or plowed, so you really just need them for the traction.

I just spent an hour drifting around town.....yah you really do need some snows + shitty winter rims, or a FWD/AWD beater...

LOL that is what usually happens. Its kinda like detailing your car. It wont rain for 3 weeks, but the day after you wax it, it rains.

its not bad down here is colorado, but too late to buy tires, guess we just have to troop it out or get a little risky which i would rather just stay home and miss work/ school w/e. then go and get hurt, hurt someone else or just have to deal with a lot of ****... thats why over the summer im saving up and buying some pos integra w/e to drive when it snows.

I know what you mean. I went to Nebraska on Friday early in January. Not much happened.....it was ever so slightly snowy. Nothing my summer tires couldn't handle. I heard it would snow Sunday evening, good thing I'd be gone already.

Saturday night/Sunday morning....it started snowing.

I was in Yutan at the time, and they didn't really plow. Thinking "As long as I get to the highway, I'll be OK. Nope, they did jack there also. After about 20 minutes, there was a hill with a slight turn to the left. Well, let's just say I went out of control. Back end goes left into the oncoming lane while my front end runs into the previous weeks snow drift. Luckily, no damage, but a 6 hour drive home took about 10 hours.

Rawwwrrr, if I would have had snow tires at that time, I wouldn't have had an issue. Thank god I have it now.

Gotta post pics still...
