Another oil/premix thread ...

5w20, yes ur engine will work, but for how much longer ? until the copper on stationary bearing eat ur e-shaft completely? ALL 5w20 has to be semi-synthetic or full. no way 100% dino juice. so, tell me, when even 5w20 Full synthetic does not have enough strength to protect anything, what makes people think a "semi" version has enough strength in the first place ?

premix. Yep, u dont need to premix, the metering pump is doing its job perfectly. Thats probably why Mazda has to add another injector to lube the center of the apex seals. i mean even with the center injector(i like to call it that way), Im still going to premix. might be a bit less. cuz mechanical stuff might die without reasons, yeah yeah limp mode, but what if the ECU missed the omp problem for some reason ? ur engine gonna get fuxked. premix is just a cheap insurance. if u cant afford that extra 1 minute & 50 cents extra per fill up. I guess you shouldnt even drive a car. I will go sohn adapter one day. just kinda lazy for now.

I premix my oil . . . . .with vinegar. it goes great on salads, sandwiches, or freshly baked bread.

Useless post for a useless thread.

Ya, if you use good oil it goes great on salads. I like to add a little salt and pepper to it as well. Simple and tasty.

I just cant bring myself to premix. I paid so much money for a group of highly educated engineers to design a car for me, I dont want to mess with their recommendations. They installed oil metering jets (or whatever they are called) at the factory. This made it very convenient for me; I just keep the oil topped off, and change it occasionally.

Then he should change their recommendations on their website: "SE3P engine maintenance ... Viscosity recommendations: 10W30 is for all-motor rotaries ... Premix is for all applications."

But you also paid those same highly educated engineers to re-design the engine with two extra oil metering jets (or whatever they are called) after a bunch of them failed.

Oh no you didnt ! Premix is evil.

The Engine is fine, it has a l337 MOP/OMP whatever you want to call it, its doing its job perfectly ! Huh what? what about the uneven wear in the center of Apex seals? and unusual wear at other areas ? NAH, remember, Mazda designed this engine, They sure knew this would've happen. Mazda will recommend you the best stuff for their engine cuz they know best ! They know everything ! Who cares about those *street* people said about the engine ! Huh ? what ? wear like that never happened in the older engine ? Oh no dont say that ! Remember Mazda knows everything ! This kind of *unusual* wear is expected ! Engine works right ? Who cares if the older NA Rotary engine can go 250K miles ! We're in 2008 right now, We dont need 250K engines anymore ! people think engines are junk @ 100K miles then they will trash their car anyway ! Yes Mazda knows everything !
