Security features?
 

My 2004 rx8 has a dead battery due to me forgetting my interior light on. I tried to boost it, but the horn has a continuous honk with the signal lights having a steady on and the wipers going withe the setting in the off position. Is this normal? I have no power to the car other than these things going. What do I have to do to reset it to boost my car and get it running again?

My car did something similar to this once when the battery went dead. Shit all over the car goin nuts (guages, clicking sounds, lights) after attempting startup with the key on the OFF position. No power whatsoever and this shit was still happening. I just hooked up a battery charger and let it juice up for a couple hours, went out and she started up and everything was fine after that. I wouldnt worry too much about it if i were u. Charge the battery or get a new one altogether, should do the trick

I did to reset the ecu by unhooking the battery.
