Hey guys, I want to buy a 2005 RX-8, can you tell me where I should look in order not to miss out, and what problems could I face buying a second hand RX-8?

Jim, the only real main thing is service history. Get the VIN and contact a dealer or Mazda USA and find out if the car is up to date on recalls and what's it's been to the dealer for. I would also would have liked the prior owner to have kept all records of regular maintenance. If you can't check out the history walk away from this one.

Don't think this is of much use to Jim. I doubt most posters here know anything about buying a used car in Spain.

 

My bad on the Spain use car market, but my advise on getting maintenance records and contactacting Mazda (Spain) http://www.mazda-es.com/ still applies.
