how guys,

just owned the car for 3 weeks now. wondering every how many miles you guys bring the car for schedule maintenace ? i checked with mazda service two weeks ago and the guy told me every 7500 miles

need your advise ?

 

...how about starting with the schedule in the manual? Tells you how often to change oil, adjust belts, plug renewal - everything.

Am I missing what your problem is?

There's two schedules in the owners manual, #1 @ 7,500 intervals and #2 @ 5,000.

Check which one approximates your driving style...

 

you shouldn't have to bring your car in for oil changes every 3000 miles like a piston engine, because as a rotary owner you should have to be adding oil every so often due to the nature of the rotary engine...on average, every 1000 miles adding a quart or so...so really you would be changing your own oil for the life of the car.

and yes, read the manual. it does wonders.

 

You're still going to need to get out the impurities that settle, so oil changes are still needed.

 

yah, hence the 5000 or 7500 oil changes as per the MAZDA OWNERS MANUAL.
