Sales question....

Hello all,

I am new to the forum, But I am in the middle of purchasing a rx8. I have some extra income now, so i'm shopping around. The deal is a mint condition, 2004 titanium rx8. 17k miles, 6spd, leather with power sunroof. $20,500..Does that sound like a good deal? I have a appointment first thing in the morning on monday to either walk away from the deal, or finish the deal.

Thank you very much,
Shazan

Great price for that many miles. Double-check for any problems the owner had. Also...be sure you want that color. I personally just had to get a red '8 no matter what (I could of lived with blue though).

also ask why the previous owner decided not to keep the car. repo, trade in, accident, etc. if they don't give you a straight answer, look into the car's short history.

w00t w00t~! lol.

those questions mentioned, should be at the very least the very minimum that should be asked when purchasing a used car. oh yea....and look into the mechanics of the vehicle. you said that the car is in "mint condition". but how does it run? take extra care to look at every single detail of the car. see if the car has any broken seals where water from rain would seep into the car.......just some more stuff that ocurred to me right now

It is a big Mazda dealership. I did ask and they said because the owner was a 18 year old who couldn't afford it so he traded it in for a miata. I think he was BS'ing but you guys are definitly right I will look up all its information. Thank you guys
