Sad day in the midwest
Well Ive had to put away my rx8 for the winter. She's all waxed and polished in the garage covered up, wont get to taste highways, interstates, roads, streets, nothing untill next year. Just the occasional start up and idle every now and then. The ole explorer gets to take glory durring the winter lol. Any one else having some sad days coming having to put away your 8 for awhile? I dont know how im gonna make it!

I ran into some financial problems so I actually 'garaged' my 8 for the winter early on October 1st for save money on fuel and insurance.
Ive cheated a couple times though taking it for a quick spin around the block, but I know what you mean. Ive been driving a grand prix with 132K and bad struts

My car is always garaged (home office). Though for winter I still like to take her out once in awhile with the snow tires on. I just can't help the desire to drive her once and awhile. Otherwise I utilize my Jeep.

30 degrees and snow in Iowa last week. Had mine detailed and is in the garage covered. I did sneak it out today for an Interstate drive. I can now look forward to 4 months of looking at it on my way to taking the dog out the back yard. woohoo!

Oh yea, forgot to add why waist a chance for perfectly good fun in the snow with an 8? After which she gets a complete cleaning back in the garage.
