Unhappy Sad Article

Haven't seen this posted previously, saw this sad article when surfing for news about the RX-8 about a soldier in Afghanistan who was killed, apparently he and his wife met on-line over their love for the RX-8.

Wow that is tough to watch. What we did over at the RX7Club is we created a memorial for all that has passed. Does anyone know if he (or her) had an account on here? If anything is needed, I can help. I am in the military as well...

I started a memorial thread for expo when we found he has passed. Perhaps someone that knows the couple could start something and we could show our support.

So sad over something as stupid and ignorant as book burning. Shouldn't have happened. To the surviving widow, you have my deepest sympathy. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Danny.

Burning the Koran is quite an offensive thing in that part of the world as evidenced by this tragic event. Here in the US we are million years ahead more tolerant about difference of opinions in regards to religion. So we might not react so violently if somebody suddenly starts burning bibles here; but quite a different story in that part of the world.

But I agree with you, it shouldn't have happened. Human life is more precious than any holy book or religion.

My deepest sympathy for the widow and family members.

Burning Koran over there is about the same as burning the bible and pee on the american flagand said u will kill everybody, if it happens, depends on which state you are in you might actually be killed.

It shouldnt have happen tho. Just because a few morons did something stupid it made other people suffered ...

To some people, religion is actually more valueable than life, cuz deep down inside, their hearts are empty and religion is the only thing they rely on. Its just like when a dog is having its meal u walk over and pull it away, u gonna get bit, hard
