One of my stupid friend(I dont really like him in the first place) keep bragging about his new 06 Audi for a long *** time, and always talk **** about other cars. Including Evo, STi and of course, our 8.

Im just wondering, compare us to the A6 ....

It looks alot heavier on paper (compare us to them). I dunno which trim he has cuz I dont even bother to find out(cuz he is the one that always talk **** about it)

he always wanted to race me .... any thoughts ?
(P.S: Im not doing street racing of any kind. I will not do it, but just want about general opinion from you guys)

 

Tell him to make sure it's under warranty if he races it. If he breaks something he's gonna be paying out of his *******.

 

The A6 is a fine car but the comparison is apples and oranges. Your friend is being a jerk.

 

If you don't like him, why do you hang out with him?

But if there are good reasons to hang out and he annoys you, take this as an opportunity to annoy him back. Get some entertainment out of the deal.

Rag him about how his car has pistons. Doors that hinge at the front. How Audi was a conglomerate created by Hitler to glorify the *****. How you never forgave them for Rosemeyer's death. The arguments don't even have to make sense...just state them with a sincere tone.

The 8 is a lot lighter than the A6, but as much as i don't want to admit it, the audi has powerful engine, and it might be able to beat us. Not to mention your friend has no idea what hes talkin about, because he cant compare the A6 with STi, RX-8 or EVO because its a completely different class. Lux vs sport.....

 

Not that I wanted to hang out with him. I dont even call him anymore. The only time that I would see him is thru my other friends. Like last night. He came out again and start talking **** about my other friend's 06 Civic 2dr.

I dont like Civics either but my friend use it as a daily driver which I think its a pretty good choice. but he still gotta talk **** like *oh Andy's car(my friend's name) suck and slow and blah blah blah*

It was funny my other friend who was in his car last night said that he was trying to *show off* his in car GPS system to this chick like oh do you know how to use a GPS and **** .... and funny thing is that last night we all gonna hang out in flushing and he got LOST and he has to call Andy for help ..... ! I was like ROFLLLLLL What a fuxking moron

Looks like the Audi A6 does the quarter mile at about 15 seconds with a low to mid 90's trap speed. So it's close I guess. You should point out that he paid over $40k for it.

I wouldn't worry about it. I live in rural NC where every redneck has a mustang, Camaro, TA, GTO,etc... Most like my car, some talk junk. I don't worry about it. I think that people like your friend just need attention and compensation for their lack of manhood.

Every one of my buddies has more powerfull cars; 330i, 350z, G35 coupe and a sedan, Mustang GT, Boxster, 300C, and they always remind me of it, though not one will do a track day or even an autox with me.

In most real world conditions - where you don't have 14 seconds at WOT, I've stayed with all of them 'cept the Stang that always pulls on me. But as this applies to slightly faster cars, it also applies to slower cars, so don't expect to pull on a newer A6 unless you got tons of space.

BTW, since I got my MS flywheel, I finally pull on the 330. Yet to try the others though.

i think u messed up audi and vokswagen (vw) which was abused for the use of the nsdap (hitlers party)
audi was founded by a consolidation of four brands (thats why there are the four rings as symbol), due to the economical status of that time....

to read exactly whats going on, you might wanna look it up in wikipedia.

 

dont get me wrong, i also think you ve got the better car with the rx8, but the a6 aint a bad car either, just different....
