Hello,

I was at the NYIAS yesterday and noticed that the tail lights on the show car there were slightly different from what I had previously seen in literatures. The round brake light portion stuck out further compared to the rest of the trunk. There's even a slight bump in the clear lense to accomodate this. The lights I see in photos look flush with the rear trunk all around. Was I blind the whole time? Or was there ever a change in tail lights between years?

 

As far as i'm concerned, there has always been that bump on the red round brake light and its always stuck out...maybe at the Auto show, they had brighter lighting to see this. In most cases, if you are looking at the 8 light dead on, without touching the light housing, you wont ever know that the bump ever existed.
