Rx8 Pz

hey guys, just wondering if youve seen the RX8 PZ we have here in the UK....only 800 was available, prodrive teamed up with mazda based it on the 231, got some nice new OZ wheels and some stiffer suspension, great for hugging them tight corners......some piccies included......we also have a few other special editions along with the nemesis, evolve ( which i think you guys call shinkas??)....and the new Kuro ......

PZ

nemesis

and the kuro, which is limited to only 500 models , has a few extra features like the piano black shiny finish on the steering wheel, black mica paint, and has a personal plate with your #......of 500.....not sure if you guys them in the states but thought id share

Cool Sad......

Pretty sad when a great company like Prodrive can only provide this as their "best effort".

Wheels, coilovers, a muffler and dress-it-up with the appearance pkge - nothing a Civic owner doesn't do to their car the first week they own it.

Not the slightest effort at a performance bump - just sad.....

It was a collaborative effort with Mazda. With all of the bitching and moaning from all the early RX8 owners, do you really think they were ever going to work with a performance company to increase the stress on the renesis? The PZ is a fully-warrantied car, mind you.

Cool That's my point....

Of course it's fully warrantied - how can a set of rims void a warranty?

.....that's my point - a low boost supercharger and a warranty would have merit, but this is both Mickey and Mouse.

The PZ we didn't get. and I forget where, either Octane or Evo or Top Gear magazine, I read that the suspension on it is just too hard and ruins it off the track.

the shinka model you get is what we call the Evolve but we get it in either copper red mica or phantom blue...to be honest its nuts here mazda are bringing out more limted edition RX8's and doing jack **** to them performance wise.....slaps a new set of wheels on and diff badges/ diff exterior and interior colors....slaps an extra 4 grand on the price tag and you got a new RX8 its bollocks

out of the latest 3 new RX8 limted editions theyve brought out in the last year the PZ is the best.....not much in performance wise as all theyve done is added stiffer suspension....borla racing beat exhaust , new oz wheels and some diff wing mirrors/spoiler......the price when it came out was £26k and now around 10 months later can be got for around £20k

But that flash still attracts people, like a moth to a flame.

It's worse than that. The strakes aren't even installed correctly.
