Which RX8 do I have?

Hey guys! I am new to the forum and the RX8 world. I just purchased an 04 RX8 and was wondering what trim I purchased. The dealership didnt seem to sure but thought its the grand touring edition. How could I tell?

Post some pictures and it'll be easy, or at least describe it.

Ha.
Seriously, tho some info about the car would help or you could google the different trim options and figure it out.

Easy way to tell; if it has this:

then its a GTB (Grand Touring Baller)

If not, but still has the leather heated seats and bose system 6 disc changer, then its just a GT

Sorry guys, been in jury duty all day It has spoiler, sunroof, power everything, leather heated seats, automatic with option to use manual, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, bose sound system with single disc changer (but has the buttons for loading and playing multiple disc but they dont do anything when pressed). Anything else? Is that enough to know what trim?

If you have the 6 disc changer and there aren't any CDs in it already, you should just be able to keep pressing "Load" and it will keep letting you put in more. If you have the 6 disc and there are CDs in it, then when you press the button it should start playing it....

If you don't have the 6 disc, maybe the numbers 1-6 are still there for you to set radio stations to.

The 6 CD changer was an option, not standard equipment on the GT.

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't buy a car unless I knew what trim it was.

Mine has heated cupholders. I don't think it's intentional, but the tunnel heats my whole center console after a good, spirited drive.

Also, I have a single CD player and when I press the pause button, nothing happens. It's just there.

Hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha, wait, hahahahahahahaha, almost done, hahahahahahahahahah

You really thought I took him seriously? I know he was being sarcastic, that's why I made the joke about how my RX8 actually does have heated cupholders.

Are you sure you know what sarcasm is?

Why did no one tell them to go to www.mazdausa.com site, and register as an owner(under the owners section, where it asks you for the VIN) and then it will tell you all about it. It's also a place to get an owners manual and other crap if you need it.

I am with RR one this one though!

Thank you for all the info everyone and the sarcasm was funny, I can take it. I bought the car cause I love the RX8 but didnt know enough to know what trim it was. I agree, its a lot of fun finding out everything it has. Thank you everyone and I am glad to be on here. Will be posting pics once we have some decent weather to take some.
