Rx8 2005

what do you think this forum is a method of? Web searches generally show the current 2004 model as the 04-05 model, but I have spoken to dealerships in which they say that Mazda was discussing coming out with a convertable and/or a Turbo for thr 05' release. Hence my question!

those dealerships lied - no real changes to the rx-8 besides the addition of white color, and the removal of yellow.
If there was to be a convertable, you'd see a ton of threads about it here.

Hey, by the name of that new white, it sounds like a pearl-white. If it'll be like the 3000GT pearl-white, that'll be a definite winner. And Mazda got that idea from me when I posted many moons ago that it should be a new color that they should come out with. Me, me, me!!! My idea! :D I oughta demand royalties...

Dealership sales guys in my opinion haven't known a whole hell of a lot from I have seen, so I thought I would join and ask quickly. It's already the end of June and I was trying to decide if I should consider waiting for a new release or not. Asked and answered-Thanks

Depends on your priorities, my dealership has a sh!tload of RX-8's all lined-up out-front. They'll have to all go. Smells like money saved to me, if you don't mind buying a new car at the end of the model year. If you do, now is the time to get talking with your salesperson about the 05 models. I don't know if there's a pre-order on the 05 models. If there is, you'll probably want to know.
