RX Tuner Magazine

I just subscribed to RX Tuner magazine, 22 bucks for a year subscript. Any thoughts on this magazine from those who read it?

Ive read the online articles. If the magazine had more info regarding the RX-8 I would subscribe. I feel the mag contains to much Rx7 info..which is cool, but im a rotary noob and want to read about my beloved 8 primarily.

Oh, I didnt say it before..excellent articles that are well written and very informative.

i like it! always a great read. more and more info all the time. should be some good articles coming out about RX-8s in the near future since there is much more to write about now that FI is comign on line. I may be a bit biased since i have had an article i co-wrote published:D i am also working on a second article that hopefully will come to fruition sometime this decade(sooner than that of course but with little time on my hands nowadays...) and perhaps a product review after that. so yeah its a GREAT mag

I've gotten a few of the magazines (got one at Seven Stock) and 2 with my subscription. They have good info. on both the RX7 & RX8. Interesting reads.

I appreciate the heads up everyone, I am a newb to the rotary, have owned the 8 for a year now, and still know very little about the mechanical aspects of the rotary. I am also eager to learn about the 7's and what made them such an icon. Moreover I just want to be educated in the car I plan on owning forever, and the long proud line of rotaries that lead to its inception.

I don't subscribe, nor is it likely I ever would. When objections were raised pertaining to the "subscribe or we'll throw acid in your face" ads, we were basically told we were incapable of humor and that it's an RX-7 inside joke, so don't worry about it. That type of marketing strategy will never win my business.

I subscribed from the first mag. The content has lots of glossy photoes and unevenly written articles with no useful editing, however, it is entertaining. There is a section on toys, usually some good racing stuff, lots on older RX's and an article or two on the 8 each month, which is usually information gleaned from this forum. I will probably re-up my subscription when it comes around.

I've been a subscriber since issue #1 and it's a really good mag. Gets better every issue. Well worth the $22.

You guys realize that the same people who run the magazine run this forum, and you have no problem using the forum... doesn't that seem a bit hypocritical?

Not at all... The thread solicited responses and responses were given. If I were to post something contrary to my true feelings, then that would be hypocritical. Would you want misleading feedback or genuine responses?

I was not aware of the whole "Acid in your face" thing, but hey, I still want the mag....
On another note, is there good technical info on the rotaries in there or is it mainly tests drives of certain RX's and the thoughts about them type articles?

Oh Trust me, I have no problem with the drive at all, just another excuse to sit behind the wheel of my 8. My only problem is I work offshore and am gone very time you guys meet, but sooner or later, I will be there, I have faith.
