Oh and Dominion - you are forgetting that the squid has the ability to spray ink. Thus, the winner would clearly be determined by the best start. Hole shot = early lead; then the spray of ink/smoke screen to blind the opponent & cruise to an easy victory.

We have had some reports about RX-8s and fishy smells
I think the squid can take them on that turn -
We had an earthquake here about 2 years ago - McFlintocs Bar and Grill (locally famous for fried Calamari) was unloading about a quarter ton of squid when the shaker occured. FEMA locked them out while the building was being checked for safety. Two weeks later they unlocked the doors....There was trouble....
I think people were fleeing the place at about 0-60 in 4....

 

The squid gets better gas mileage, so squid wins.

 

Around here, squids are primarily considered to be bait ( you only eat them if you can't catch something better) I suppose the RX-8 could qualify as bait... I think you could catch more fish with your calamari, but you could get a bigger fish with an RX-8. So, on that turn, RX-8 wins....
We catch squid here by letting down a line with a little tassel of twine on it - the squid falls in love with this 'hula girl', wraps tenticles around it, and we pull them out of the water - you get an RX-8 by waving money at it... I give this round to the squids who prefer
