Rx-8 Trans, and Miata the same?
Miata/RX8 Trans

Was checking Ebay and came across this, is it true that the same transmission is used in a Miata as in the RX-8?

to clarify it is the 6sp MT that is in the Mazdaspeed Miata

What makes the difference between the Mazdaspeed MX-5 6sp and all other 6sp Miata's? The original 6sp Miata was in the 10th Anniversary Edition Miata. If I recall, Mazda used the same 6sp in all Miata's (that came equiped as such) up to '05.

u are right no difference...confused with the 5speeder Miata
