RX-8 Replacement, Farewell and 1000th Post

It's been a good ride here on the forums. Been lurking around since 2007 when I bought my first RX-8.

A Metropolitan Grey Mica Auto GT. Had a blast, and the paddle shifters are still some of favorite ever seen in a vehicle.

Having yearned for a manual I finally got a RX-8 R3 (black) in 2009. This was followed shortly by a 2009 White GT manual.

Loved all three for various reasons.

Moving into my replacement now. A 2014 BMW X1 xDrive28i M-Sport.

Quite a few members have gotten Bimmers over the years.

The X1 is an interesting concept but I can't help but look at them and think they look like a squished version of an X3.
