There's a difference between fanbois and people who enjoy their car they have purchased, understand its weaknesses, and post their experiences and thoughts on the forums just to be slapped in the face by the guy.

A lot of what I say is humor, my first comment was humor, you take it as something serious and have done so many times in the past. So I mess with you after that. we werent sayin that the rx8 is the best car out there. of course there are always faster and better cars out there. we were just posting what we have experienced with our 8 since we own it and enjoy driving it everyday, so you can just back off on the capping.

This is great. You got the defensive guys (fanbois) defending the rx8 from racing humiliation (as usual), the realistic ones who tell it like it is, the neutrals, and then there's IKE, who always clashes with the defensive (or fanboi) RX8 owners. I don't blame him. He's having fun, and he knows how to push all of your buttons, so more power to him. Don't you guys see he's simply feeding off your insecurity? The more you try and defend the RX8 in terms of how fast it is against other cars like SRT, the more ammo you give him. Try admitting that you as a driver beat the other driver, not that your car is faster, and he might back off. You can't win an argument, when the guy you are up against has truth on his side. I admit, he's a rude m'fer, but someone's gotta knock the BS fanbois off their defensive pedistals, so why not Ike. I'm enjoying this.

RX8 IS GREAT. SRT SUCKS.
The 8 is not the most powerful car but it will hold it's own. It can keep anything in it's sights on the track. Who cares on the street. Street racing is fast and furious dangerous.

 

Also, I once was involved in a cat and mouse race with a f430. I was at his bumper the whole entire time. After the race I pulled up next to him and waved but he was on the phone and some chick was giving him a hummer.....

Torque is the "drug". I had a Spec V before I got my 8 and that thing had MASSIVE torque steer. Not smooth at all.

As far as all this turbo this and NOS that, most of these people can't drive, and think that the power will make up for that. So they go out judging what the best car is "one 1/4 mile at a time" and by looking at hp numbers. My friend just got a S2K but said he likes drag racing. He said he's going to smoke my 8. I asked him why he thought that and he says because I have more hp and a quicker quarter mile time. Now what WRONG with this picture? He also says I should get a turbo so I can have 400-500hp. Another, person says this about my 8, and somebody else says that .... blah, blah, blah.

The 8 is for fast DRIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
