RX-8 Production Numbers?

Does anybody know the number of 2004 rx-8's broke down by color? Or even where I can look it up myself? I have tried searching but I cant seem to find it.

I'm curious about that as well. I e-mailed Mazda to ask for a break-down by color, tranny & package. The rep replied promptly that they don't have any of those numbers. If you could talk to an exec, I'm sure they could get the data.

Well no reason really. I was just wondering out of curiosity. Oh and I was wondering which cars are going to be worth more money later on. I mean I know the color alone isn’t going to make a car valuable, but if there are only 200 yellows produced then they will be harder to find later.

first year cars are almost always worth less. The only way the yellow would be worth more is if you keep it all original and never repaint anything on the car.

I have a blue. I wasnt wondering about one color in specific. It was just a general question. I was just wondering how many of each color were made.

I probably won't be keeping my yellow one long enough to find out how valuable it might get.

I figure some cheesy dealership somewhere will end up putting "Very Rare" in an add.
