I thought these car of the months were supposed to be fun. If you are that serious then enter a judged car show, or start a point system.
I did choose his car not just because I know him, but I feel his car is one of the cleanest. I am most about form and function and body enhancements that dont detract from its original lines. Sorry, but lambo doors are too many years behind me, but everyone has their own brain and are entittled to their own opinion. Poor photography minuses points with me also. I do know alittle about cars and photography

Just to clarify, Fastrax has been researching on our forums for over 2 years (that’s part of his job), he just wasn’t registered. I can assure you that he is one of the most respected tuner’s in the aftermarket performance industry. If he chooses to place a single vote (regardless of who it was for), that should be his choice.
BTW- I did not tell him to vote for me (I'm not that type of person), I was just showing him the picture that he took!

I voted last month and this month. Im not a "respected" member of the RX8club community, but still I will bitch a little at the whole notion of the "RX-8 of the Month" thread. Why are nearly half of the nominations the same as last month? Its a popularity contest for the most part. The people who are on here the most and post the most are getting nominated. Nothing wrong with that at all, but take this whole voting thing with a grain of salt. I dont know about the rest of you, but I feel the same car should not be nominated two months in a row. I love all your cars, but I want to see some different 8's. Everybody that got nominated has pictures of their cars all over this site. I just want to see some fresh pics and I think this thread can help with that. I dont want to see pics ive seen 50 times all over this site. Just how I feel.

Well, Ngo couldn't be nominated again because he won last month. Ngo can't be nominated the rest of this year. And the winner of this month can't be nominated the rest of the year either.
There are actually quite a few different runner this month. The only repeats are chrism, MissyK, FE3P, and Shinka123. Only 40% return. Pretty good all things considering.
OK, here's the deal. You can only be nominated two consecutive months at a time. Is that fair? (Being serious, not sarcastic, please don't take it the wrong way ).
Not to pick on your chrism, but lets use you as an example. You were nominated last month and this month. So no matter what, you CAN NOT be nominated next month. But if this month this is your first nomination, you can be nominated next month.
Now chrism can't be nominated next month for RX8 Of The Month for June, but he CAN be nominated for RX8 Of The Month for July. Get it? That way we get some fresh faces in.
This month, 40% of the field is a return nominee (Shinka213, chrism, MissyK, FE3P) were also nominated last month. So that's actually pretty good that 60% of the field is new noms.

How about creating different themes each month. This will make the field smaller, plus give others with less mods a chance. For example, custom paint only, 19" wheels and larger, dirtiest car (any rally guys?), flying cars (big wings?), etc. Just a thought.
