Someone at Jay Marks Mazda in Houston confirmed that the RX-8 will be at the Houston Auto Show on Jan 25th-Feb 2nd. Not sure if I believe them - not the most impressive car dealership I've ever seen. I inquired about putting down a deposit - apparently I am the first person in their history that wanted to put down an advance deposit - they didn't know what to do, so I left.

On a related note anyone know a good dealership in the Houston area? I might try Jeff Haas (President's Club) on I-10 but it's a bit of a trek for me from the south side of town.

 

Not to argue the point about the sales side, but the Toyota parts department of Jay Marks (which is also a TRD parts dealer) has been one of the better mail-order parts department in the country for MR2 owners.

We might want to keep that in mind and try the Mazda parts people (if they aren't the same), especially if they are also a Mazdaspeed dealer.
