Hi, I'm currently using HKS Mineral oil for my Rx-8. What do you guys think? People just have different perception. Some said synthetic, some advise non-synthetic. Just wondering what is the right oil for Rx-8. I'm currently living in Indonesia with the weather ranges from 28-34 degree celcius.

any 10w40 oil will do. Be it synthetic, mineral, biological or whatever. Just make sure that it mixes well with fuel. Change it every 10.000km and you'll be fine
You will save a lot of money.

 

10000 km per oil change is too long imo

 

Ill stick to 3750mi per change.

As I posted in your other thread there are loads of oil threads on this site. Please search before opening new oil threads or bumping current ones.

 

I would say use 2.3387w40.99873 oil.
