What the hell ever happened to the English language? This is coming from a person where English is a second language.

omg these guys r fuken idiots.

some guy posts a random dyno out of nowhere with absolutly no proof and all those morons jump onto the bandwagon.

and look at this idiot:
"That's true. Read SCC's article on RX-8. The wrote that as soon as they dynoed the car Mazda took it away from them and they agreed not to post results, which were weaker than expected.
So if it's 177 that's really bad. Kinda like the Lancer pulling only 217 whp.
Guess it's exactly the same as with Mustang Cobra, companies seem to overstate hp lately"

The new cobra is rated at 390 horsepower but is actually putting out over 420 at the crank. Ford was stung by the fiasco in which the 2001 Cobras were only making slightly more horsepower than the GT (not the 320 claimed).

and?

i wasnt disputing the ford thing. contray to what this idiot wrote("The wrote that as soon as they dynoed the car Mazda took it away from them and they agreed not to post results, which were weaker than expected.")
the SCC article did post the results. and it also explains that there was a port sticking issue, not because mazda lied about the horsepower.

They think the RSX is better than the RX-8. Well here are the RSX S-Type number and you can draw your own conclusions.

2003 Acura RSX S-Type
Weight: 2778 lbs. ( not bad )
Acceleration (0-60 mph): 6.7 sec
Horsepower: 200 hp @ 7400 rpm
Torque: 142 ft-lbs @ 6000 rpm
Drive Type: FWD

Yeah, I don't get it either.

You didn't capitalize and you spelled bullshit with a z to make sure it wouldn't be sensored.

I think the Grammarians need to chill.

Grammarian:

Grammarian usually has little to contribute to a discussion and possesses few effective weapons. To compensate, he will point out minor errors in spelling and grammar. Because of Grammarian's obvious weakness most Warriors ignore him.

-Mr. Wigggles

Ps. Oh, and as far as the Dyno result goes:

1. No graph or picture of the car is shown to back up the guys claim.
2. It is an RSX website.
3. There is no way a 177 rwhp 3000lb car could do 0-60 in 5.9 secs on street tires like the results C & D and R & T got. So there "pre-production" car wasn't firing on all rotors.

For kicks go to the "RSX vs. All" section they have. They have one thread that a modded RSX Type S (cold air intake) killed a stock EVO. The guy even has a video to prove it. Ohh almost forgot the EVO had three passengers in it

Right Click Here to save the vid.

I'm gonna take a guess and say the RX-8 probably loses about 30hp in drivetrain. This is common with Miata dynojet numbers. (RX-8 uses same transmission)
