RX-8 in Car and Driver--AGAIN!

As an avid reader of Car and Driver since I was 14 years old (only 45 now), it has always impressed me when the automotive press latches on to certain cars as their favorites--because in the ever-forward moving car world, we have to always have what is the newest, the latest, etc. I hate when they do this with my skis and bikes as well. Anyways, as I was lusting after the RX-8 since it came out for about five years until I bought mine, I was LOVING that Car and Driver was STILL featuring it! I've found this to be quite rare. So, now I just got my new issue, and the RX is in there AGAIN. Yes, they are making all the excuses, but hey, it is still there, and that is so great. Hey, this is just because I care man. cheers.

Last Sunday, Top Gear (UK) was listing amazing used cars you could buy for under 6000 pounds (think money, not weight). The RX8 was one of the cars they talked about. Almost everyone has seen the 2003 video where Clarkson praises the car as the best car he had driven that year (except for the tires).

Mazda has always been about balance from what I have come to understand. The FD and the RX8 has been some of the best handling and the best braking cars out there, EVER. And for a car that is a third less than the other cars listed in many of its rivals. That is why I would speculate the next generation rotary-powered car to be amazing.

The article they did several years ago was almost perfect. Obviously there won't be anymore extensive comparisons with the car but to even still mention it is honorable on their part.

I'm not giving up on Mazda but the bar has been raised awfully high this time around. Whatever ammo they have they are going to have to use all of it just to put a dent in the market. Like everyone else, I'm frustrated but at the end of the day, if it's not done right I feel there won't be another resurrection. I hope they can atleast give one more solid parting shot.
