rough idle

About2 weeks ago I was riding down the rd and my car randomly cut off and cut right back on its own. This morning I was driving my little brother to school and my car started to shake going up a hill I thought it was Justin to high of a gear so I downshifted buy it was still shaking and running really slow. I pulled in to a parking lot and parked and my car cut off on its own. I tried cutting it on the 1st time but it didn't work the second time it cut on but with a rough idle so I cut it off. 10 minutes later I cut it back on it it was normal. Does anyone know what's wrong with my 8?

year of car? Mileage? Last time serviced (what was included in the service)?

Please include as much info as you can about your car, if you really do wish for help.

Its a 2004 with 90,000 and I changed the motor last year. The motor had 60,000 miles. The check engine light is on also.
