Go to http://www.yakima.com They have different configurations to suit varying styles of bikes. Your cheapest bet to to do as 4years suggested or go with a hitch mount rack
This is their base system for the RX8. You can add the different mounts and brackets that you'll need for your bike.

No problem. My brother got one from them for his wife's car. He says they're good heavy duty construction and likes that he can just order different brackets if he ever changes bike styles. They also have some security features he likes as well.

I can't imagine putting a roof rack on an 8.
I didn't even put my satellite antenna on the outside of the car, let alone a roof rack.

So, the roof clips hook into the weather-seal area at the top of the doors?
Why does it look like the clip goes over the entire top of the door frame? It would be impossible to open or close the door...

Wow, another bikee - I haven't raced competition for years, but it is still so cool that a rider would also go for an RX-8 - good luck - what events do you ride? (Mine was Centuries)
