Ripped Doorcard, how would suggest I fix?

When moving a TV, I put a dent and created a tear in the doorcard. Dealer said it would be $530 to get a new doorcard.

I'm already going to take a Sharpie to it, but I'd really like something that would be a more decent fix.

Any suggestions?

There are vinyl repair kits, where you mix up some glop to fill the hole and press a textured piece of paper over the curing glop to match the pattern. I bought one of those years ago, but never got around to using it.

Maybe you could ping some of the discount Mazda dealers on here and on the Web. Might be able knock some dollars off your local dealer.

oh that sucks.....sharpie would make it look better...but I would look at some vinyl repair kits they make them for all sorts of things and see it one of those will fix it ~600 bucks for that little scuff/rip is not worth it IMHO!

Good Luck

Also check out the For Sale/Wanted section on here. Post and maybe someone knows of a wrecked 8 or spare lying around.

I got one of those "vinyl repair kits" too and I got around to using it. Like any "kit" it is what it is a patch. At best it's a "C-"....I would wait till I found a cheap one and sharpie it as was mentioned.
